A Quick -G 2012 Road Trip Report

Hey all;

Having stupid amounts of fun.

Cedar Point: Windseeker was nice, not as scary as Sky Screamer but the view is amazing. TTD kept rolling back but sadly not with us on board. While I was hoping to end the day on Blue Steak; Millie sucked us in for four rides at the end of the day that just rocked.

Waldameer: Holy crap my top 10 has a new coaster on it as Ravine Flyer (2 not 3) is an amazing ride. The spinner was fun. Highlight of that park visit was seeing my old friend Kathy "Aunt Rose" Lyons.

Darien Lake: Got spit on on Predator making that ride even worse. Motocoaster was interesting and Ride Of Steel was the reason to visit that park. The park reminded me of SFKK and was a letdown as I'd expected much more from a Hirachend Park.

Stayed up until 1:30 last night chatting with Bratman which was fun. Not getting too much sleep but I'll catch up later I'm the week.

Well today we're visiting Niagara Falls ("slowly I turn...inch by inch"...let's see if any of you get that pop culture reference) then doing Martins Fantasy Island (will Tattoo be there?) before crossing over into the Great White North to take on Canada's Wonderland.

"Slowly I Turned" is the most common name associated with a popular vaudeville sketch that has also been performed in cinema and on television. Comedians Harry Steppe , Joey Faye  and Samuel Goldman each laid claim to this classic of show business, also referred to as, variously, "The Stranger with a Kind Face" by clowns and clowning aficionados, "Niagara Falls" by fans of The Three Stooges, "Pokomoko", "Bagel Street", "Niagara Falls" by Abbott and Costello lovers, and "Martha" by the fans of I Love Lucy.

I was going to say The Three Stooges but, was beaten to it.
