You know what I miss ...

I got this Idea from another site basicly instead of talking about a past ride or sharing stories, just post a pic or two of what you miss riding anything from a coaster to a kiddie flat. Even shows share what you miss at park.

I miss Banshee at Holiday World. It was bay far the most intense Falling Star out there. My mother-in-law still mourns it's loss as she was a big fan.

I love Hallowswings but Banshee was the bomb.

I miss the Sky-Way at SFSTL. If that accident hadn't occurred it might still be there.

I rode the Zambezi Zinger at WOF as a kid and loved it. I returned to WOF once while in college and it was every bit as good as I remembered. That was in 1992. Timberwolf was a good ride back then and the Orient Express was a pretty kick-ass Arrow.

Rolling thunder... It only ran until I was five. I don't remember anything about this coaster except being in the trough. I remember that vividly, but I can't remember waiting in line, the station, the lift... But I loved this ride.

A few years after, I remember I was convinced that Rolling Thunder had been removed for Whizzer. So I hated that ride for a long time, even after I knew that Rolling Thunder was in fact removed for Southwest Territory.

But I've grown out of that.

I miss the barrel ride at Six Flags St. Louis and Mo-Mo the Monster. So glad they have one of those at Holiday World!! I was very excited when I went back in 08 and got to ride it!!! Also missing when Ninja at SFSL actually rode well. Hurt my back pretty bad last weekend!

The Ninja is running better this year with the new paint but that's not saying much as it still beats the sh*t out of you.

I tend to ride it every 3 or 4 years just so I can remember how bad it is.
