The Hydra Roller Coaster at Dorney Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania

Fitting its name Hydra coils all around itself with loops and helices.

I really have a fondness for floorless coasters because the track may be the same as every other looping coaster but removing the floor and having your feet dangle over nothing or track a foot or so beneath your feet changes the game.

That little change makes you a little more exposed and out there in the open.

Hanging out there while doing drops, loops and turns just adds to the fun for me but some removing that floor and protective space of having a car all around you really messes with them.

I do get scared, especially with heights but I live under a few rules the first of which is a life lived in fear is half lived and the second is if you are locked in just sit back and enjoy the ride no matter what.
