Dollywood with their attention
to detail had to add a few bits of theming to the Tennessee Tornado's
trains to make them look like an old mine train.
After a quick trip through
the Tennessee Tornado's workshop and storage track it's off to the lift.
The Tennessee Tornado like
the rest of Dollywood is down in the bottom of a valley and uses that
terrain for full effect. The lift heads up the hillside and after
a turnaround reminiscent of the legendary Rye Playground "Airplane"
coaster sends you down into the mountain.
After going underground it's
time to head out into the light and head over heels in a huge loop.
Actually all of Arrow's previous coasters had the same size loop because
they were all literally cookie cutter coasters with pre-defined parts.
Dollywood didn't want that and ended up with several custom sized loops.
