The ride down is fun, thrilling and exhilarating while the trip back
up was relaxing and serene. The two "yin and yang" polar opposites
in experiences really made the whole thing just perfect.
This groundhog was hilarious. It has a nice little burrow under the
track. He'd leave the burrow and go and eat some of the grass while
no one was near and then as soon as a sled came a couple of feet away he'd
dive back under for cover.
Here's the resort part of Chestnut Mountain. I used to ski when I
was a kid and one of these years it'd be nice to come up here with Bond
and Carrie and get a room and spend the weekend skiing down the hills with
Bond.
You can get a really great view of the river from anywhere on the mountain.
Having lived near the Mississippi for vive years now it's nice every once
in a while to just go and sit by it's shore and watch the water head on
it's way downstream.
