We decided to go and hop in line for Top Thrill Dragster since that'd probably be the longest wait of the day other than Maverick.  We had an hour to wait before the park officially opened so we sat down took it easy and chatted with the people next to us in line.  While waiting we suddenly heard this huge noise and looked to find Top Thrill Dragster roaring towards us down the launch track.  My heart did skip a beat as it's just so fast it doesn't look real.



After a while of testing we were allowed into the queue and headed right up to the front seat for my first ride.



I know this may sound strange coming from a coaster enthusiast but I am terrified of heights and the whole concept of going four hundred and twenty feet up and then of course coming straight down just was sending me into a panic attack as we pulled forward into the launch position.



I may be one who is terrified of heights but I'm also into facing my fears head on.  It's just the kind of person that I am.  Once the lights on the pole start to go down there's nothing you can do but face them.
