The Vortex Roller Coaster at Carowinds, Charlotte, North Carolina

Vortex was B&M's third stand up coaster when it opened in 1992.  It was funny when Bond went to ride the springs that push the seat that you straddle up were so powerful that he was sitting there with his feet off the ground.

It's not one of the best stand up's out there but it was a pretty fun ride.

Kings Island,  Kings Dominion and Carowinds were a chain of parks back in the 1970's owned by Taft Broadcasting and after the huge success of The Racer at Kings Island they added a John Allen designed racer at the rest of the parks.
