Wonder Mountain plays an integral part of another coaster as the lift hill of Vortex climbs to the top of it and then plunges down the side of the mountain.



Top Gun (now called Flight Deck) at Kings Island is a copy of Vortex.  The reason it is so far out away from the rest of that park is that was the only terrain they found on site that would match the mountainside that Vortex was built into.



As Bratman has made yearly visits to Canada's Wonderland since it opened back in 1981 heading up to the top of Wonder Mountain brought back memories.



Here's Bond, Illinois Mike in the back and another Toronto local enthusiast Luke taking it easy up on the mountain.
