Designed by Dayton, Ohio's National Amusement Device Company the Big Dipper opened in 1958.

In the sixty years between when the Big Dipper opened and today there have been a few changes to Camden Park with new rides here and there but there is a very world before lawsuits sort of a feel to the place.
