The Montu rollercoaster at Busch Gardens Tampa, Tampa, Florida

Montu takes you up 150 feet into the Florida sky before it turns you around and plunges you into a tangle of track, tunnels and trenches.

It is a good thing to head straight to Montu first thing in the morning as you can see with this empty train there was no one there.  I hopped off after my first ride and walked around over and over for five laps before heading elsewhere.

Later in the day as seen here Montu filled up.

Montu has seven inversions with two vertical loops, which this is the first one.

Here is a nice view as Montu crests the first loop a hundred and four feet in the air.

One thing that I noticed from this position is that Busch Gardens landscaping/maintenance department is amazing as there isn't a weed or long blade of grass in view.  It is like that under all of the parks coasters and all over the park.  That sort of perfection and pride is just some of the little things that makes Busch Gardens Tampa Bay one of the best theme parks on the planet.

After Montu takes you the first of the rides many tunnels and trenches you speed into the heavens as it takes you into an Immelmann inversion.
