Just push the sled's handles forward as far as they go...



...and let gravity take control of the ride.



It is really surprising how quickly you pick up speed.  While there are no big drops you are treated a few mini-moment's of negative g's with a few of the sharp little drops that are placed along the course like the one just ahead of the sled in this photo.



What I really relish about the Runaway Mountain Coaster is speeding through the wooded hillside with trees whizzing by as you speed down the mountain side.



Flying a few feet above the forest floor dodging trees left and right I would be lying if I told you that my brain didn't flash back to the summer 1983 when I was eleven watching "Return of the Jedi" and dreaming that I was on a speeder racing through the forests on Endor.  Yeah I am a geek but this ride experience is totally like that.
