Belmont has a true specialty for those of you who don't make it north of the border into Canada.  Belmont Park has one of the new BeaverTails locations outside of Canada.  A BeaverTail is a sugar and cinnamon covered flat bread that you can cover with a wide variety of tasty toppings.  BeaverTails needs to massively expand down here because these put funnel cakes to shame.



Again there is a lot to do squeezed into Belmont Park's seven acres.



As someone who grew up the heyday of arcades back in the 1970's and 80's the sign and energy of Belmont Park's arcade really brought me back. 



For those wanting a slower ride the Liberty Carousel sits in the center of Belmont Park.



The Control Freak at Belmont Park is a Ferris Wheel shrunk down and cranked up to 11 as it not just sends you over but flips riders as well.
