Stricker's Grove Ross, Ohio October 15, 2006 Page One
The directions to Stricker's Grove state "Go past rollercoaster and turn right into Stricker's Grove". I guess this must be the coaster they're referring to as you normally don't see classic wooden coasters populating the curbs of American highways all over the place even though it'd be nice.
Stricker's Grove is a picnic park that's only open to the public maybe three days out of the year. It's open on the 4th of July, the 2nd Sunday in August and sometimes they have a third add on day that's announced when they're open in August.
With Stricker's limited schedule I have been trying to get here for almost a decade and every time something has come up and kept me from going.
Well I finally made it to Strickers Grove this year. Joe and I left Santa Claus early in order to make sure we had plenty of time to get there and were pretty much the first people in the park after meeting up with our friend Brian from Indianapollis.
