It's not a short drive up to Muskegon from Illinois especially Western Illinois but the sight of Shivering Timbers hills immediately made me forget the aches and pains from sitting in a car for hour after hour.  The whole thing just looms over everything and really just takes your breath away the first time you see it.



Michigan's Adventure was the first stop on a three day-four park trip for my coaster buddy Greg and I that would include Cedar Point for the Coastermania event as well as quick stops at Fun Spot and Indiana Beach to brake up the long drive home.



On my last and only other visit to Michigan's Adventure in 1999 the Big Dipper and Wild Mouse were there but not yet operational so this was a new coaster to me.



The Big Dipper is located right inside the front gate of Michigan's Adventure so Greg and I hopped right on for a quick and fun ride.
