Adventureland was one of the last parks added to the country during the theme park craze that began with Six Flags Over Texas in the 1960's and lasted through the seventies where parks sprouted up around cities. It opened in 1974 and has grown steadily since then. It is no Cedar Point, Six Flags or Busch Gardens but it is a nice little park that does a great job of giving it's customers a good time.
