The Knott's family moved to the once rural Buena Park, California in the
1920's. Starting with a simple roadside stand selling berries
Knott's Berry Farm all started from there. A family chicken
restaurant was added which was so good the Knott family added a ghost
town attraction to entertain guests as they waited for Mrs. Knott's
legendary fried chicken. From that point rides, themed attractions
and coasters were added to the Knott's family farm. Over the years
Knott's Berry Farm has become one of the premiere theme parks in the Los
Angeles area with a lineup of ten coasters.
