The airtime in the back seat on the Zippin Pippin coming over the crest of the first drop is amazing but the great part is that it was just getting started.

The Zippin Pippin was a huge coaster back in the day when it opened with a seventy foot drop and over 2800 feet of track.

It was the centerpiece of Libertyland and it sure as heck is the centerpiece of Bay Beach Park.  Green Bay expected only 200,000 riders in it's opening season but as of late August it had blown those projections out of the water with well over 400,000 riders.

It's good to see Green Bay's gamble paying off.
